Our Trip Down Here

So sorry it has taken so long to post its been two weeks and we still don't have a good internet and its been difficult to get any thing to post. So here it all is we left on Tuesday the 13th and it was much better this time around with Robert. We went to SanFransico first and Robert went to the visa office to pick up his visa and the rest of us just stayed back at the airport and got checked in for our next flight we were about ready to go through security and this worker kept saying no you need to go back to american airlines go, go, go . So I went back and with the three kids by myself at this point they make me check my stroller because its more than 20lbs (is there a two kids stroller is not more than 20lbs?) and I asked so what am I suppose to do with three carry on bags and three kids by myself and she said "thats not really my problem." I was so mad so to all the moms reading this do not fly American Airlines if you have a stroller that is more than 20lbs. Anyway we did fine the rest of the time we found a little play area and were able to hang out for the next 4 hours and then off to Miami. That flight was fine as well everyone pretty much slept some except me I don't nap well. Then we ate dinner in Miami and boarded for Sao Paulo it worked out great Robert had two seats and Lainey and Andrew had a row so Lainey slept on the floor and Andrew on the seats and then I had three seats and cooper slept on the floor. Lainey and Cooper slept until we started to land and Andrew woke up and ate and watch some tv. Overall it was great, when we got to Sao Paulo we met up with Robby the other American and the kids were excited to see him so we visited and waited to get to uberlanida.
Finally 32 hours later we were in our Brazil home, it took 3 cars to get all our bags and us to our apartment which was interesting to say the least. I will post pictures of our place if it will let me or those will be more to come. So the place itself is fine but its so far away that we really can't leave unless we have a car (which Dani and Valentino let us borrow theirs all the time they are wonderful people) or sometimes we will walk but with the 35lb stroller and kids walking up hill is a tough walk. Anyway the place is old but big enough for us and we are trying to make it work with the distance.
So two weeks in we are doing better than the inital reaction to being so far away the kids are all doing swimming lessons which are wonderful and three days a week so that gets the kids out and about. Andrew also is doing basketball again tues-fri and him and Robert go together to their practices. So all the kids stay busy which is nice but I'm so far away from Vanessa its hard to not get to spend time with her when ever we want. We are trying to figure that out though and she is now teaching us Porteguese 3 days a week so hopfully I will get more time with her.
I think that is all for now but I will post some pictures of our time here so far but its not letting me with this slow internet so hopefully soon Love you all so much and miss you terribly!

THE KIDS FIRST DAYS OF SWIM LESSONS

Here is Cooper's first day of swim lessons and he didn't move from that spot for almost the whole time. The only thing that kept him in the water was the toys.

Lainey was a fish from day one she didn't have any trouble getting started and she is quickly learning how to swim.

Andrew's first day of swim lessons, his teacher speaks a little bit of english which is nice and she is a great coach. She is pushing Andrew so much just on the first day its great he learned the back stroke and did excellent with it.
