Cooper is getting so brave and really starting to swim.  I can't believe the difference in 2 months!!!

Andrew's Swim Competition

So today was Andrew's first swim competition and he did so wonderful.  The first heat he did was the back stroke and we were sure what to expect in any of them especially this one.  When it was finally his turn he killed it he beat everyone by a lot and won the GOLD medal!!!  Then more waiting and then he swam the front stoke.  He did so good in this one as well he got the silver medal and only lost out of the gold by a fraction of a second.  We will get his offical scores Tuesday at swimming but no matter what he did excellent.  The way this competition worked was if you got a certain time in your age group that got you the gold, silver, or bronze medals so it wasn't one on one so to say but personal goals.  I thought this was great because it allows the kids to still be competitive but maybe not so much pressure with the other competitors.  Anyway we are so proud of him I cried but whats new there. =)  Here are the pics and the videos are on youtube I will post the link once they are done downloading.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

We celebrated Halloween a couple days late but still had a party.  It was a blast we did trick or treating with all the rooms in our apartment and had face painting.  I baked a ton of stuff we had brownies, sugar cookie pumpkins, witches fingers cookies, and chocolate cupcakes...Sugar overload.  Here are some pics of the day.

Swimming Update

Here is an update of the kids swimming.  Andrew is one week from his swim competition that he will be doing the front stroke and back stroke.  He is doing really well and we are going to do a couple extra days with him to help get his breathing down.  Nov 5th 8am is the competition wish him luck.

Cooper is finally putting his head under the water, he is not quite getting the swimming part down but I'm just excited he is getting more comfortable with the water.

Kid's Day

In Brazil they celebrate Kid's Day like we do Mother's and Father's Day its a big day the kids don't have school that day and some schools for the whole week.  Anyway we went to the club for the day and swam.  Here is a couple videos from the day, the kids had so much fun.  I wish that I knew about kids day because I would have brought presents but stuff is so expensive here I didn't really want to buy anything.  The rest of the kids here got big present like DS's but the kids were fine with the small things they got and we had such a good time at the club I don't think they knew any different.

Costume Party (Brazil Halloween)

So this last weekend we went to Franca which is about 3 hours away and stayed the weekend for Dani's birthday. It was a blast it was a costume party which was nice since they don't really have halloween here it was nice for the kids to dress up. Andrew was Bam Bam and Lainey was Pebbles, and Cooper was a vampire. Cooper fell asleep about 8pm and the party didn't even start until 930 so he missed the whole thing but he was at least dressed up for a picture. Lainey then fell asleep about 1030 so she missed all the dancing but Andrew stayed up with us like a rock star until about 3am. Its crazy how late everything is here but we had such a good time. The place we stayed slept all of the people that came from Uberlandia and was also the place that the party was at so it was huge. Anyway here are some pics of the weekend. FUN times oh Happy Birthday Dani!!!
