Cookie Bake

Every year for the last 15 years or so we have gone to the Safeway cookie bake where you buy the dough and cut and bake it all there.  Its so nice to have all the mess some where else.  We go with Reina and her family every year its a wonderful tradition.

Cooper's Accident

So Cooper had a little fall into the fire place well on the marble surrounding the fire place and we really thought he broke his arm. We went to the urgent care and they said no brake but still put him in a splint and said it should be better in 2-3 days if not come back so after 3 days he was fine which I wasn't sure he was in a lot of pain still on day two. But yeah he is better and playing and running around and still jumping off everything.
Então, Cooper teve uma pequena queda na lareira bem sobre o mármore ao redor da lareira e nós realmente pensou que ele quebrou o braço. Fomos para o atendimento de urgência e eles disseram que não freio, mas ainda colocá-lo em uma tala e disse que deveria ser melhor em 2-3 dias, se não voltar assim depois de três dias ele estava bem, que eu não estava certo de que ele estava em um muita dor ainda no segundo dia. Mas sim, ele é melhor e jogando e correndo por aí e ainda pulando tudo.

 

Our Trip Home and Black Friday

So sorry everyone in Brazil that it has taken me so long to post but here is goes.  The flight was well really really long but it went pretty well, the kids were great which is the only reason that flight is even possible.  Then the next few days was jsut for rest and to try and get ready for shopping. =)
Black Friday was wonderful like always and all my stressing was for not because all my planning came through and we got everything on the list. YEAH!!! Here are some picture from the shopping day.
Todos tão triste no Brasil que me levou tanto tempo para postar mas aqui está vai. O vôo foi bem realmente muito longo, mas ele foi muito bem, as crianças eram grandes, que é a única razão que o vôo é ainda possível. Em seguida, nos próximos dias era apenas para descansar e tentar se preparar para fazer compras. =)

Black Friday foi maravilhoso como sempre e todos os meus sublinhando era para não porque todo o planejamento a minha chegou e tivemos tudo na lista. YEAH!! Aqui estão algumas fotos do dia de compras.

Cooper is getting so brave and really starting to swim.  I can't believe the difference in 2 months!!!

Andrew's Swim Competition

So today was Andrew's first swim competition and he did so wonderful.  The first heat he did was the back stroke and we were sure what to expect in any of them especially this one.  When it was finally his turn he killed it he beat everyone by a lot and won the GOLD medal!!!  Then more waiting and then he swam the front stoke.  He did so good in this one as well he got the silver medal and only lost out of the gold by a fraction of a second.  We will get his offical scores Tuesday at swimming but no matter what he did excellent.  The way this competition worked was if you got a certain time in your age group that got you the gold, silver, or bronze medals so it wasn't one on one so to say but personal goals.  I thought this was great because it allows the kids to still be competitive but maybe not so much pressure with the other competitors.  Anyway we are so proud of him I cried but whats new there. =)  Here are the pics and the videos are on youtube I will post the link once they are done downloading.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

We celebrated Halloween a couple days late but still had a party.  It was a blast we did trick or treating with all the rooms in our apartment and had face painting.  I baked a ton of stuff we had brownies, sugar cookie pumpkins, witches fingers cookies, and chocolate cupcakes...Sugar overload.  Here are some pics of the day.
